Adam Evans is the accomplished founder and owner of SunPro Solar. He is known as a person who perseveres until he accomplishes his goals. He is an intelligent entrepreneur who has worked hard to build a successful solar energy business with the idea of helping families and the environment.
Adam spent his early life in Anaheim, CA. However, his family soon relocated to the Temecula Valley where he has resided for the past 26 years. Before graduating from California State University, Fullerton, he studied abroad in Germany and was able to learn the language as he immersed himself in the culture.
Mr. Evans has spent numerous years in the construction industry, and has been a contractor in the electric, gas, and plumbing fields. He also worked in the pool construction repair industry before teaming up with Jesse Green to open the most trusted solar company in the Temecula Valley.
Adam’s ongoing dedication to excellence is evident with his prestigious NABCEP certification: the highest 3rd party solar certification in the world. He has also helped to guide SunPro Solar in maintaining an A+ rating with the BBB.
Contributing to the community is a top priority for Mr. Evans. He has participated in the Student of the Month Program as a scholarship and gift bag sponsor for seven of the local high school districts. He also participates in a unique work experience program for the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. This program allows special needs or under-privileged youth the opportunity to learn what a real work environment consists of through hands-on training.
Adam’s efforts have certainly been noticed, as he was recently voted one of Temecula Valley’s 40 Under 40 Award recipients. SunPro Solar has been nominated for Business of the Year for the cities of Menifee, Murrieta, Wildomar, and most recently Temecula. He is also an active member of Valley Young Professionals of Temecula.
Among solar energy, Mr. Evans is very passionate about health and fitness. He enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and calisthenics. He hopes to encourage families to use physical fitness activities, such as those found at Rock Fitness Climbing Gym in Wildomar, as a way to stay strong as a family unit. Adam’s heart belongs to his two, sweet little pugs Mops and Butters.
Jennifer Dufresne is the highly qualified Financial Controller at SunPro Solar. The expertise she displays began after graduating from the University of Arizona at the top of her class with a double major in Marketing and Accounting.
Ms. Dufresne’s extensive knowledge includes over 20 years of experience in such fields as the airline industry, banking industry, and construction industry. Notably, she has also owned and operated a successful construction and land development company. Moving into the solar industry at SunPro Solar in 2014 was a natural fit for Ms. Dufresne due to her extensive background.
Jennifer has had the pleasure of living in more than six different states before settling in California and the Temecula Valley.
She finds joy in working at a company that values honesty and integrity. Her quiet and humble demeanor does not overshadow her exactness in work. She is a strong and accomplished businesswoman who continues to help SunPro Solar achieve success through her expertise. She confidently manages each account and has a great responsibility in what she does.
Among Ms. Dufresne’s hobbies are gardening, hiking, camping, jewelry making, and caring for her favorite furry feline.
Bob was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a star athlete, and was even offered a position as the starting pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. After much debate and a glimpse of delusion, Bob made the decision to further his education and instead earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Design from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola Florida.
Mr. Kornmann began his detailed career over 12 years ago as an Education Training Manager, and has worked as an Account Manager & Designer at two design and management companies, as well as a freelance designer.
Bob joined SunPro Solar over 4 years ago as the Planning and Engineering Manager. He specializes in photovoltaic design for commercial and residential solar systems. He is also the Director of SunPro’s Engineering and Design Team Training Program.
His collaborations with Licensed Structural Engineers to engineer effective and structurally sound PV systems have led his team to receive top honors in a national solar competition.
Mr. Kornmann also manages all utility and local jurisdiction agency approvals and processes. Under his oversight and personal design, he and his team have engineered and permitted well over 500 custom residential PV systems to date.
Bob continues his love for baseball and plays as often as time permits. He enjoys nature-related activities, such as fishing and camping, and he even makes time for the art of woodworking.
Dan has been in the field of solar energy since December of 2010. Prior to this, he spent 21 years proudly and bravely serving our country in the United States Marine Corps.
During his last stay at Camp Pendleton, Dan completed a course on clean energy. He loved the idea of not only helping the planet, but of helping the people he had so proudly served. It was because of this that he soon found a position at SunPro Solar.
Mr. Thompson sets a high standard of customer service and technical expertise for his colleagues. He has instilled the “fix it right the first time” mentality to those he oversees and educates.
As the Service Department Manager, you will find Dan scheduling pre-site inspections, monitoring our customer’s solar systems daily, handling service calls, and working one-on-one with customers for any questions that may arise. However, these are just a few of the components of what he does to ensure happy customers each and every day.
When asked how his military experience has affected his work at SunPro Solar, Dan states that he learned valuable leadership skills and is more patient than most people. These qualities have proven true, as Dan is one of the most well-respected Service Manager’s in the solar industry.
Dan has been married for 23 years and has two teenage sons. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys the Anaheim Ducks hockey team.
Burke has been involved with SunPro Solar since the early planning stages of the business over 10 years ago. He began his training in the construction industry at the young age of 16, and by 18 years old was a member of the Carpenter’s Union. He specializes in quality control and is highly skilled as SunPro’s Project Manager.
Prior to working at SunPro, Mr. Clyne spent many years as a certified EMT. This fast-paced and high-pressure job trained him to think clearly and logically under extreme circumstances. He has used those skills to his advantage in managing the installation department, the service department, and the engineering department.
Burke is also the warehouse manager, ensuring that all job materials have been ordered properly and in a timely manner so our customers can reap the benefits of solar energy even sooner than they had hoped.
Safety is still one of Mr. Clyne’s top priorities. He leads and trains at monthly employee safety trainings in areas such as the safe use of hand and power tools. He works hard to maintain that all employees are OSHA compliant. Burke also ensures that fleet maintenance is up to standard to allow for a speedy installation process for our customers.
When not hard at work, Burke enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, and loves the outdoor animal life. He has a passion for bears.
Jesse Green is the proud founder and owner of SunPro Solar. He is from the Inland Empire and began his career in the construction industry and quickly earned a stellar reputation for his strong work ethics and determination. After miraculously surviving a horrific motorcycle accident, Jesse had the desire to use his expertise in a way that would help families have a better quality of life.
He joined forces with Adam Evans, and in 2008, after a great deal of research, over three years of on-site training, numerous certifications, and even greater faith, Jesse and Adam opened the doors to SunPro Solar.
Jesse holds firm to his core values and believes in providing good, old-fashioned customer service, while providing the best craftsmanship and attention to detail as possible. As a husband and father of three young children, he is aware of the expense of raising a family and works diligently to help ease the financial burdens of his customers.
He is not only a successful businessman in the solar industry, he is also a caring philanthropist. He supports and sponsors numerous non-profit groups and organizations throughout Riverside, San Diego, and Orange Counties by donating his time and money to help others in need. He is known as a person who will always lend a helping hand and his generosity speaks volumes about his character. He is also very active in youth athletic programs, sponsoring a large number of local baseball, softball, soccer, and other various sports organizations.
Jesse is a recipient and two time nominee of the 40 Under 40 Award of the Temecula Valley. He has been a nominee for Citizen of the Year, as well as receiving multiple nominations for Business of the Year in the cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, and Menifee, to name a few. He has also earned the NABCEP certification: the highest 3rd party solar certification in the world.
In March of 2015, Jesse was honored to have Sunpro Solar chosen as the Top 5 National Finalist for the very prestigious SunPower Intelligent Award for excellence in quality of design, installation and service. Solar energy is not Jesse’s only passion in life. He enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking , camping, and shooting arrows with his new compound bow. Of course, his greatest joys come from being a husband and a father. Along with his children, Jesse’s wife would agree that he and his four-legged pal Charlie are inseparable.
Mr. Green is also quick to point out his deep faith in God and his tremendous gratitude for all he has been blessed with. He looks forward to many more years of helping others enjoy the benefits of solar energy.
Edna is an original New Yorker who found a place in California at an early age. She has been involved in customer service and management for almost 20 years, which includes experience in the field of construction relating to windows and doors.
Edna began her career in the area of Human Resources at a large hotel, where she managed the files, audits, and all paperwork and benefits of over 230 employees. Edna is known for her attention to detail and fine print. She has brought this knowledge with her and has served as the Manager of Payroll and Human Resources for SunPro Solar since 2013.
Edna’s expertise in the area of HR is crucial for SunPro to maintain compliant in all federal, state, and local legal requirements. She does this by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to the requirements, and advising management on needed actions. She also works hard to make sure that our fleet drivers continue to represent SunPro in a responsible manner when they are driving to and from job sites.
Mrs. Rugerri’s thorough work ensures our customers that SunPro maintains the highest standards possible. This is one reason why SunPro Solar has been recognized as the most trusted solar company in the Temecula Valley.
Edna enjoys watching the employees grow and excel at their jobs and she loves helping them reach their goals. When she is not at work she likes to camp, hike and loves to experience our National Parks.
Kelley was born and raised in San Diego County, where she still resides. She began her illustrious career over 20 years ago, beginning in the area of customer service. She was a natural leader, earning a supervisor status early on. She was especially adept at data management, problem solving, and employee productivity.
Ms. Barber spent numerous years as a sales team leader, where she monitored, trained, and managed the #1 team in Southern California for four years. She was responsible for managing an entire sales floor, which consisted of over 60 agents, and worked with customer service and tech support staff to ensure a high level of service on all new and existing products.
Kelley has been using her skills to become an authority in the field of solar marketing for over 9 years, with the past 4 years as the Marketing Director at SunPro Solar. It is here that she has shared her love of solar energy and has brought to the attention of families everywhere the benefits of going solar. Her passion for helping customers save money and gain their energy independence allows her to thrive at Sunpro Solar.
Ms. Barber effectively communicates and coordinates with the vice president of sales and marketing and the sales manager to ensure that the best programs and solar technology available today are introduced to our customers. Her goal is to present each family with a variety of options so they have the opportunity to find a program that is best suited for their needs.
Kelley is responsible for the entire marketing staff, including the Communications Department and Community Relations Department. She is also a part of the Education Team for the SunPro Scholar Program for these departments.
Like owners Jesse Green and Adam Evans, she has a strong belief in giving back to the community. Therefore, she maintains a solid monthly budget that allows SunPro to sponsor numerous non-profit organizations, student athletes, student technology clubs, the Rotary Club, the Chambers of Commerce, and many more.
Ms. Barber was named SunPro Employee of the Year for 2012 and the Team Player of the Year for 2013. She was recently nationally recognized, along with the SunPro team of experts, for her role in superior installation, design, and customer service.
Kelley volunteers with her local 4H Club, teaching small animal classes and assisting with large animal groups. She enjoys participating in missionary work with her church, hiking, spending time outdoors, and loves the water.
Emily is the Community Relations Director for SunPro Solar. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Cal State Fullerton and a Master’s Degree from Walden University. She has over 15 years experience in customer service, and 10 years in the field of Education. Emily has continued her education in the field of solar energy since 2013.
Ms Padilla has served as a Director for the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as an Ambassador for the Murrieta and Temecula Chambers of Commerce. She is also active in the Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Canyon Lake, Fallbrook, Oceanside, and Carlsbad Chambers of Commerce.
Emily is a member of the Sustainable Committee for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, and is currently taking part in creating a Green Checklist which will help businesses become eco-friendly and earn recognition as a Green Advocate.
Ms. Padilla sits on the Inland Empire Advisory Council for the nationwide, non-profit organization GRID Alternatives and has participated in Solarthon events in both Riverside County and the Coachella Valley.
On behalf of SunPro Solar, Emily is involved with various philanthropic community groups and is a member of the Rotary Club of Wildomar. She is active in educating students about the importance of protecting the environment, of which solar energy is an important aspect.
She has been privileged to work with the Assistance League of Temecula in SunPro Solar’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Through this partnership, SunPro has been able to provide over 150 families with a complete Thanksgiving meal thus far.
Emily also enjoys writing weekly blogs for SunPro Solar’s website, as well as the monthly customer newsletter. She loves letting our customers know all of the great things that SunPro is doing for the community besides helping them save money through solar energy.
Aside from volunteering in the community, Emily enjoys singing, spending time outdoors, reading, and going to church. Among her greatest accomplishments in life is that of being a mother to her three amazing and adventurous kids.
